Douglas Hardman, former head of DTZ's investment team in EMEA, has been named as a partner in Cushman & Wakefield's EMEA capital markets team.

Hardman was a director of Central and Eastern European investment at DTZ in Budapest for four years.

At Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), Hardman will focus on the generation and execution of direct mandates with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe including Russia and the commonwealth of independent states.

C&W said that the appointment was part of an ongoing recruitment drive and follows the recruitment earlier this year of global capital-raising specialist Bernhard Karas from M3 Capital Partners and investment specialist Yahya Abdulla who joined from Al Salam Bank in Bahrain.
