Massimo Livi, DTZ's office director in Rome, commented: 'Given that a government property was involved, the sale strategy had to be highly transparent. The property was presented to a high number of institutional funds as well as private investors. The deal eventually drew considerable interest, considering the numerous bids made by investors that were attracted by the opportunity to buy a very exclusive property.'
