DTZ's property and asset management team in Prague has won a mandate to manage the Bainbridge Properties portfolio comprising 100,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of retail space in the Czech and Slovak Republics for a new client, Aerium Finance Ltd.
DTZ's property and asset management team in Prague has won a mandate to manage the Bainbridge Properties portfolio comprising 100,000 m2 of retail space in the Czech and Slovak Republics for a new client, Aerium Finance Ltd.
The portfolio includes three shopping centres and three Tesco hypermarkets. The mandate brings the total area of retail, logistics and office space under management by DTZ in the Czech and Slovak Republic to nearly 600,000 m2.
Bainbridge Properties was launched in 2004 as a single-sector, multi-country venture. The company holds a portfolio of hypermarkets and shopping galleries let to Carrefour, Tesco & Coop in Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey. In the Czech Republic the portfolio includes shopping galleries SC Královo Pole in Brno, SC Stodulky in Prague, SC Vseborice Ústí nad Labem and three hypermarkets Tesco, located in SC Futurum (Hradec Králové, Ostrava and Brno).
DTZ will provide asset management services for the portfolio from 1 January 2009. The main tasks will be setting up effective property management, complex financial services, a new and revised system of regular, accurate and transparent reporting, plus a review and establishment of marketing activities.
