Property adviser DTZ has appointed Bob Rickert as global chief operating officer (COO) and Isaac Krymolowski as global head of Consulting & Research. Both will join DTZ within the first quarter and report directly to Group CEO Paul Idzik. They will both sit on the newly created Group Executive Committee.

The two senior appointments reflect DTZ's stated plans to re-shape the executive management team, with a focus on building the group's financial performance. Both Rickert and Krymolowski join DTZ from Barclays. Rickert was Chief Information Officer of Global Retail and Commercial Banking. while Krymolowski was Head of Strategy and Planning with responsibility for corporate strategy formulation.
As DTZ's Global COO, Rickert will assume global responsibility for all non-finance support functions. Krymolowski will oversee all regional consulting and research operations, capitalising on the expertise built during a career in the consulting profession and in setting strategic direction for large corporate firms. In addition, he will lead DTZ's internal strategy development processes.
