Real estate services firms DTZ and CBRE have joined forces to broker one of the largest industrial lettings so far this year in Scotland. The two real estate advisors said that logistics company Kuehne + Nagel is leasing the 50,000 sq ft (4,650 m2) Vista Point warehouse at Hamilton International Park. Kuehne + Nagel has agreed a 10-year lease, with a break option at year five, at a rent of £5.50 per sq ft. The global giant will now base part of its UK drinks distribution network at the Vista Point warehouse.

The 10-year-old shed, which was acquired by landlord Buccleuch Property four years ago, was recently returned to the landlord’s hands by way of a leasehold surrender from Flextronics and subsequently refurbished to a high standard.
