DTZ Zaddelhoff, the Dutch arm of international broker DTZ, has appointed Cuno van Steenhoven as chairman of the board of management. He replaces Cees de Jong who left the company earlier this month following his conviction for tax fraud relating to a personal tax filing.

The appointment of Van Steenhoven (1953) was announced to DTZ Zaddelhoff on Monday morning.

Van Steenhoven, who obtained a law degree from the University of Utrecht, has held various positions within DTZ for the last 25 years. He was appointed assistant director of DTZ in Utrecht in 1986 and became director of the office a year later. Van Steenhoven has been a partner at DTZ since 1990 and from 1999-2002 he was deputy chairman of the management board. He is currently head of the retail division of DTZ Zaddelhoff.
