Patrice Genre, managing director of DTZ Asset Management, is leaving the asset management firm it helped found in 1999.
'The 14-year success story of DTZ Asset Management and Patrice Genre has come to an end. I am today like a writer in front of an empty page before he starts a new story,' the 48-year old manager told PropertyEU. He declined however to comment on the reasons for his departure.
Genre founded DTZ Asset Management in 1999 together with agent DTZ and has led the business ever since. DTZ AM now manages €3.6 bn worth of real estate in Europe on behalf of clients including CNP, Carlyle, JP Morgan, Carval, Apollo, WP Carey, and Dubai Islamic Bank.

Before establishing DTZ AM, he was a director at Goldman Sachs' Whitehall Funds for three years covering various senior positions in acquisition, asset management and portfolio management.
He previously worked for a number of companies including developer Vinci and government agency Invest in France Agency.
