Scheduled for opening in 2024, the 37,500 m2 Adriatic Hub will be the first sorting centre for processing parcels for Croatia and Slovenia at the same time.

Located in Dugopolje, it will incorporate the latest sorting technology that will enable the processing of up to 12,000 parcels per hour, improving services to B2B and B2C customers in both countries.

Igor Jakovljevic, CEO Croatia and Slovenia, said: ‘This investment in strengthening logistics capacities and improving all operational processes is expected to further strengthen the connection between Croatia and Slovenia and increase the quality of service to the satisfaction of shippers and end recipients in both countries.’

DPD Croatia currently has 18 depots across Croatia and from this month will further boost its logistics/storage capacity by opening a new distribution centre in Dugopolje and expanding the existing central distribution centre in Zagreb, in Sesvete.

DPD Croatia is part of Geopost, the largest international parcel distribution network in Europe that delivers over 8.3 million parcels a day in more than 230 countries.
