A dozen retail malls in 10 countries have been shortlisted for the 2016 European Shopping Centre Awards, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has announced.
A dozen retail malls in 10 countries have been shortlisted for the 2016 European Shopping Centre Awards, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has announced.
The finalists were announced by Joao Correia de Sampaio, chair of the jury, at the Mapic retail fair in Cannes last week. The winners will be announced during the networking dinner of ICSC’s European Conference to be held in April next year.
The awards were open to any new or refurbished retail or entertainment project opened between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2015, and any established centres opened, refurbished or expanded before 2010.
Commendations may be issued to selected finalists in recognition of particular achievements or features of special interest. All European award winners will be automatically put forward to the 2017 ICSC VIVA Best of the Best Awards programme, to be announced in May 2017.
