Italy's developer Risanamento and Dolce & Gabbana announced they have finalised an agreement for the opening of two boutique stores for Dolce & Gabbana at the Milano Santa Giulia luxury mixed-use development in Milan. The two stores will be located on the commercial Promenade, looking onto the Luxury Square, which will be home to Italian and international luxury brands.

The square, designed by Foster + Partners, will feature buildings housing 10,000 m2 of high quality retail space. The Dolce & Gabbana boutique will provide 1,000 m2 of space while the adjacent D&G store will have a floor space of 750 m2. Milano Santa Giulia is committed to handing over the two stores by spring 2010.

Luigi Zunino, chairman and ceo of Risanamento, said: 'We have invested heavily and will continue to invest our best resources to ensure that Milano Santa Giulia realises its full potential. An entire town offering luxury shopping is definitely taking shape at Milano Santa Giulia. In particular the Promenade, the commercial heart of the new area, and the amazing square dedicated to luxury brands, offers a genuine alternative to the luxury shopping of Milan's historic centre.'
