Dirk Hasselbring has been appointed CEO of DIC Fund Balance, the investment fund arm of German-listed property company DIC Asset.
Hasselbring has held a variety of senior positions with companies in the real estate and investment fund industry during a career of more than 20 years.
His previously roles included being a board member at German-listed shopping centre landlord Deutsche EuroShop and a capital transaction executive at Australia-based GPT Group.
Hasselbring was also managing director of the Cornerstone Group (now Barings) and CEO of Hamburg Trust, a company he repositioned as a provider of institutional real estate funds. Under his leadership, the volume of real assets under management increased to €1.3 bn.
