Diófa acquires Budapest office complex from CA Immo

The asset was sold by Austrian listed property firm CA Immo for an undisclosed amount.

Inaugurated in 2,000 and renewed in 2015, the building currently provides 14,000 m2 of fully-leased space in South Buda with an additional 1,500 m2 of space available for rent later this month thanks to an in-house restructuring exercise.

Colliers International brokered the deal.

'This is the second transaction that we realised in excellent cooperation with Diófa,' said Ede Gulyás, head of CA Immo Hungary. 'They received a high quality building occupied by first class tenant that will become, in my opinion, a stable revenue maker as part of their portfolio. We managed to sell building A of Infopark in a favourable market environment in the wake of local portfolio adjustment, following the large-volume purchase of the 70,400 m2 office complex Millennium Towers in 2016.'

With a property portfolio worth more than €450 mln, Hungary is CA Immo’s largest CEE market at present.
