Frankfurt-based DIC Asset has announced that a major US fashion merchant is to move into its property in Regensburg's pedestrianised area from January 2010, replacing the current tenant H&M. The unnamed US group will occupy four floors totalling 2,530 m2 retail space. The group has over 200 branches in Europe and already operates more than a dozen branches in Germany.

The property is situated in the prime location of Sankt-Kassians-Platz. DIC Onsire, which is responsible for operational real estate management, has kept this property fully let through this deal. Other tenants of the 2,650 m2 of rental space include an E-Plus shop and the fashion jewellery retailer SIX.

DIC took over the property in December 2007. The contemporary building blends harmoniously into its old-town surroundings and stands out thanks to its modern retail areas situated in an outstanding location. DIC Onsite currently manages 16 properties in Bavaria with commercial space totalling around 145,000 m2.

The Munich-based retail specialist Comfort acted as intermediary.
