Frankfurt-based DIC Asset is reshuffling its senior executive body with the appointment of Sonja Wärntges and Rainer Pillmayer.

Wärntges, aged 45, has been appointed to the management board effective June 1, 2013. She will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer, as the incumbent CFO Markus Koch will leave the company at his own request to focus on a new career challenge.

Markus Koch has served on the board as CFO since July 2003.

Wärntges, a certified economist, has previously served as CFO on the board of Deutsche Immobilien Chancen & Co for nearly two years. Before then, she held various senior positions in the financial departments of companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers and C&A.

In another senior appointment effective June 1, 2013, the 38-year old manager Rainer Pillmayer will join DIC Asset's board to take over the position of COO that was just created.

Pillmayer, a certified business administrator, joined DIC Asset in 2008 in the role of corporate development manager. Previous career stops included Eurohypo in Frankfurt am Main and London, and Boston Consulting Group.

Ulrich Höller, who has been CEO for many years, will continue to lead the company.
