Deutsche Finance International (DFI), the London based pan-European private equity real estate investor specialising in operational real estate, has appointed Daniel Filser and Jonni Glick to the roles of senior associate and analyst respectively as it continues to expand its team in line with the firm’s growth plans.
Daniel Filser joins DFI as a senior associate from Allianz Real Estate, where he was an investment manager in charge of global and European indirect investments. During his seven years at Allianz, he was based in Munich but also spent three years in New York working on deals in Texas, Washington D.C. and New York, including a $450 mln equity investment into 1515 Broadway, a 54-storey office tower in Manhattan.
Jonni Glick joins DFI as an analyst from InfraRed Capital, where he focused on UK value-add investments across multiple asset classes, with an emphasis on multi-let industrial. Prior to that, he was at Citi in the South African Investment Banking team, where he worked on M&A and equity capital markets transactions.
DFI’s inaugural fund, DFI European Value-Add Fund (DFI EVAF), closed earlier this year with €436 mln of equity, including co-investment. On behalf of DFI EVAF and its co-investors, DFI has already assembled a portfolio of €856 mln of assets, including London’s iconic Olympia Exhibition Centre, diversified across five European markets.
