Development Securities has received planning consent from the Corporation of London to redevelop 10 St Bride Street on the western side of the City. The development is being funded by the Luxembourg-based fund, Sireo Immobilienfonds No.4 SICAV.
The premise, which has been vacant for a number of years, will be redeveloped behind a partially retained façade. The scheme will provide 55,392 sq ft (5,150 m2) of offices and a wine bar and restaurant. Construction work is due to start in September and finish in late 2009.
The scheme forms part of the City Corporation's plans to regenerate the St Bride area and make St Bride Street pedestrian only. Jones Lang LaSalle advised Sireo. Morgan Pepper and Jones Lang Lasalle are letting agents at the scheme.
