Dev Secs appoints group finance boss

UK REIT Development Securities said on Wednesday that Marcus Shepherd will take up the position of group finance director from 18 February 2013.

UK REIT Development Securities said on Wednesday that Marcus Shepherd will take up the position of group finance director from 18 February 2013.

Graham Prothero, current group finance director, will leave the company at end-January to take up his new role as group finance director with Galliford Try.

Shepherd joins Development Securities from Aviva Investors where he has been finance director (Global Real Estate) since January 2009.

Previously, he was chief financial officer (Europe) for Valad Property Group (2007-2009), having joined via the acquisition of Teesland where he was group finance director.
