Deutsche Investment KVG has announced the appointment of Dirk Meissner as new managing director of investment management, effective April 1.

He replaces Michael Krzyzanek, who has covered the role for the past two years and has left the senior management for family reasons as of 31 March 2021.

Meissner, aged 50, will be in charge of Fund Management, Asset Management, Equity Investment Management and Treasury/Finance. He has served in senior positions in the real estate industry for more than 20 years. Between 2011 and 2020, he worked for the ZBI Group, initially as member of the management board of ZBI Zentral Boden Immobilien, responsible for property management, and next as CEO of ZBI Fondsmanagement, the AIF management arm of the ZBI Group.

Prior career stints included senior positions at Grainger Deutschland and Dr. Lübke.
