German shed specialist Deutsche Industrie REIT has purchased the headquarters of multi-channel retailer Baby Walz from London property company Aprirose for €28.15 mln.
The premises in Bad Waldsee, south of Baden-Württemberg, is the main office and distribution hub of the German maternity and baby clothes market leader
The asset comprises eight principle buildings, which include office, retail and warehouse accommodation, totalling 46,350 m2.
Manish Gudka, CEO at Aprirose Real Estate Investment, said: 'We are pleased to have sold the Baby Walz HQ to Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG which is in line with our business plan for this investment. Whilst we mainly continue to grow our real estate portfolio in the UK, we are also considering other European cities where the investment case makes for a compelling opportunity for our investors.'
