The group’s first international logistics property is being built in Katy Wroclawskie, around 25 km from Wroclaw.

The multi-tenant building is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2024 and will offer 80,000 m2 of logistics space and around 2,500 m2 of office space, tailor-made to meet the requirements of future users.

Like all other properties developed by ECE, the logistics center in Katy Wroclawskie will feature numerous sustainable aspects.

These include, among others, energy-efficient planning, implementation of the property, the installation of e-charging and car-sharing stations, bicycle parking spaces, the possibility of installing photovoltaic panels on up to 30% of the roof area, as well as the creation of insect-friendly green areas and a sustainable irrigation system. BREEAM certification in the "Excellent" category is being sought.

Florian Meyer, Deutsche Hypo – Nord/LB Real Estate Finance Hamburg, said: ‘We are very pleased to support the ECE Group for the first time in project development in Poland. Due to the expansion of supply chains and the relocation of production sites by companies due to a lack of availability of building materials and increasing dependencies on other countries, a further increase in demand in the logistics sector can be expected. Therefore, this project with its optimal location is very promising.’

The property is conveniently located on the A4 motorway in the direction of Dresden, and neighboring countries such as Germany and Slovakia can be reached within a few hours.
