Earlier last month, OVG CEO Coen van Oostrom announced the Rotterdam-based company had won an exclusive contract to develop the European offices of ABB, the Swiss-Swedish engineering Group. The company is currently in the process of conducting a review of ABB’s sites throughout Europe together with ABB's Swiss real estate division. Van Oostrom said he expected to have a clearer idea of plans for potential new developments by the end of the year.

OVG is one of the fastest-growing developers in the Netherlands and has won accolades for its customer-oriented approach. The company is due to complete a 53,000 m2 development in Rotterdam for ABB next month. The first phase of the development comprising four office buildings was sold to German open-ended investment fund SEB ImmobilienInvestment at end 2005.
