Deloitte has secured a new headquarters in Kiev, moving from the Leonardo Business Center to an office building on Zhylianska Street. Due to expansion plans that could see the company triple in size over the next three to five years it was considered necessary for Deloitte to have their own building. The ten-storey Class-A office building will be renamed the Deloitte Business Center. Total leasable space is 9,500 m2.
The building is being developed by Ukrainian-American company ISA Prime Developments and is owned by Eurasia Ukraine. Deloitte is being represented in the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield. Deloitte plans to occupy 70% of the building with the other 30% being sub-let.
Aaron Block, partner, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko, commented: Securing a Class-A building like the Deloitte Business Center for Deloittes office needs is a real coup in this tight leasing market. The successful completion of a deal of this caliber was a culmination of more than a year's work on Deloitte’s side. Eurasia and Deloitte have proven that it is possible to create long-term value for both landlord and tenant in the Kyiv market.'
