Deliver event moves online to tackle e-commerce debate

Comprising two days of retail-focused sessions, taking place on 8 and 9 October, Deliver featured retail leader masterclasses, interactive workshops, table talks and one-to-one meetings, alongside live networking, facilitated by its online platform.

Brands ranging from Levis to Moschino unveiled their latest e-commerce strategies, while third-party logistics players including DPDGroup and ShipUp shared their news. While DPDGroup plans to deploy zero emission delivery solutions in the 225 largest European cities by 2025, ShipUp is opening an office in New York in response to demand.

On the event's second day, a session called 'enabling omnichannel logistics' saw Geodis release its joint white paper with Accenture on the industry's evolution. In total, more than 650 retailers showed up digitally across around 1,500 online meetings, with representatives taking part from 40 countries across the world.

Deliver has confirmed that its sixth edition will take place on 8 and 9 June 2021, in Amsterdam at the Taets Art & Event Park, in a hybrid online-offline event.
