Delin Capital Asset Management (DCAM) has secured a lease renewal for 40,000 m2 of logistics space with one of its major tenants in Amsterdam Port.
The tenant, Fetim Group, operates from Beiraweg 2-8 in Amsterdam, part of a logistics park that was developed by logistics specialist DHG and was acquired by DCAM in 2014.
Fetim is an international trading company specialising in design, development, marketing and the sale of construction products, flooring, home decoration and bathroom fittings.
Ekaterina Avdonina, managing director of DCAM commented: 'It is testament to our strong tenant relationships that one of the largest tenants in our portfolio has decided to prolong and renew its lease. Our logistics park in the Amsterdam Port is a first class logistics asset, and fulfils all high standard requirements for logistics companies.'
Fetim Group was advised by Appelhoven Vastgoedadviseurs, and Industrial real estate partners advised DCAM.
DCAM is a European logistics real estate company with assets in the Netherlands and the UK. Belgium and Germany are also target markets. The company's existing portfolio comprises 550,000 m2 of logistics properties, with assets under management valued at over €500 mln.
The company told PropertyEU in June this year that it is moving into development, with the first project being undertaken in the Netherlands on a speculative basis. DCAM aims to double its assets under management in the coming years through both acquiring and developing attractive opportunities in key growth logistics corridors within Europe.
The first project is a 40,000 m2 warehouse with a gross development value of €30 mln and is located between Moerdijk and the port of Rotterdam in the south of the Netherlands. ‘The prime location is attractive for DCAM because of the current low vacancy rates and strong take-up,’ Avdonina told PropertyEU.
DCAM appointed Gerwin Vos as commercial director earlier this month. His appointment coincides with the opening of a new office in Rotterdam, bringing DCAM's presence to 10 people across London and the Netherlands.
