Germany's Deka Immobilien has bought the Rock office tower in Amsterdam's Zuidas business district from Evans Randall. Financial details were not disclosed.
Germany's Deka Immobilien has bought the Rock office tower in Amsterdam's Zuidas business district from Evans Randall. Financial details were not disclosed.
However, according to the Amsterdam land registry, the property was sold for just less than EUR 133 mln. Evans Randall bought it in 2007 for around EUR 165 mln.
The 24-storey scheme will be added to Deka's EUR 5 bn WestInvest InterSelect fund. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Amsterdam Zuid train station, the asset was completed in 2009 and houses the headquarters of law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, which occupies 24,500 m2.
Designed by Dutch star architect Erick van Egeraat, the building was developed by a consortium of ASR Vastgoed Ontwikkeling, ING Real Estate Development and G&S Vastgoed and provides a total of 29,600 m2.
