German fund manager Deka Immobilien has purchased an office property in Oslo for around €60 mln.
The vendor was the Norwegian real estate company Radge Eiendom and the privately owned investment company Canica.
The building was completed in the spring of 2015 and offers a total leasable area of around 6,000 m². The main tenant is the Norwegian ship broker Clarksons Platou. The property will be transferred to the real estate portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund, WestInvest ImmoValue, which is aimed exclusively at institutional investors.
The office property is located in the new central business district of Oslo and offers excellent access to public transport. The property has received 'BREEAM NOR Excellent' sustainability certification.
This purchase is the first investment WestInvest ImmoValue has made in Norway.
