Deka Immobilien has acquired a logistics facility in the Lower Saxony district of Peine from logistics firm Meyer & Meyer for around €25 mln.
The asset is destined for Deka's institutional investor-oriented fund WestInvest TargetSelect Logistics.
The logistics centre, comprising three logistics areas and office space with a total rental area of around 33,000 m2, plus an outdoor area with 116 parking spaces, was completed in November last year and handed over to the tenant. It is aiming for a DGNB Gold certificate.
The property is located in the commercial district of Peine, close to the motorway, in the established logistics region of Hannover / Braunschweig. A fashion logistics company which is a subsidiary of Meyer & Meyer is the sole tenant on a long lease.
