One of Deka Immobilien's special funds has acquired an office property in the German city of Duisburg for about EUR 35 mln.
The FWS12 building was sold by Austrian real estate group Immofinanz as part of its restructuring programme. The deal has been brokered by ANTEON, a real estate consulting firm in Düsseldorf.
The modern office building is situated in the city centre of Duisburg and lies next to the pedestrian area. Immofinanz said the 16,000 m2 of floor space, including 232 underground parking lots, are let to tenants with a good credit-rating on a long-term basis. Over 90% of the space is leased to a company of the German state North Rhine-Westphalia and to local bank Sparkasse Duisburg.
