The Deka Realkredit Klassik debt fund has acquired a €30 mln tranche of a commercial real estate loan for an office tower in Paris' La Défense business district.

The tranche is part of a total financing of around €79 mln provided by DekaBank as arranger for the purchase of the 23,152 m2 Tour Prisma by Invesco Real Estate.

Built in 1996, Tour Prisma was renovated in 2011 and is fully leased to French law firm Fidal. Invesco Real Estate bought the 22-storey scheme in March 2014 on behalf of an Asian state pension fund. The vendor was Canadian group Ivanhoé Cambridge.

Deka Realkredit Klassik, launched in 2009, owns debt assets valued at around €400 mln.
