Rabo Real Estate has Sold Its Cool63 Building in Rotterdam to German Investor Deka Immobilien Invest

The multi-tenant building provides a total surface area of 19,600 m2 and is located on Coolsingel 63 in the centre of the Dutch port city.

Cool63 comprises 9,000 m2 for offices and 10,600 m2 of retail and restaurant space. The retail units are leased to Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn, Mado, Trainmore en the largest urban Decathlon outlet in the Netherlands.

Completed in 2015, Cool63 has offices with Breeam Excellent certfication and is one of the most sustainable office buildings in the centre of Rotterdam, according to the vendor. Formerly used as the headquarters of Slavenburg Bank, the building was radically refurbished and transformed into a multi-let complex to create more liveliness in this part of the centre of Rotterdam.

Rabo Real Estate was advised by asset manager Molsbergen Development, with legal advice from Pels Rijcken and fiscal advice from Crowe Horwarth Foederer.
