Deka Immobilien has acquired the Jungmannova Plaza office complex in central Prague for a total of EUR 40.6 mln. The seller was CEE investor and developer Immoeast. The property was acquired on behalf of an open-ended fund managed by Deka Immobilien Investment.
Deka Immobilien has acquired the Jungmannova Plaza office complex in central Prague for a total of EUR 40.6 mln. The seller was CEE investor and developer Immoeast. The property was acquired on behalf of an open-ended fund managed by Deka Immobilien Investment.
Completed in 2004, the property consists of four buildings with a prominent façade as a protected historical monument. It provides around 10,300 m2 of office space fully leased to several tenants including ABN Amro, the European Parlament, Johnson & Johnson, Czech bank Patria Corporate Finance as well as several law firms.
European law firm Schoenherr advises Deka on the purchase. The company entered the Czech market in January this year after taking over the Prague office of Gleiss Lutz. In the last three months Schoenherr also advised Deka and its subsidiaries on the EUR 93 mln acquisition of City Point Vienna and on the purchase of the office complex Silk 7 in Vienna.
