Deka Immobilien Investment has acquired a logistics complex in the southern Dutch city of Waalwijk for EUR 42 mln.
The logistics department of DTZ Zadelhoff advised Deka in the transaction.
The vendor was the local developer of the property, which is known as the European Distribution Centre (EDC).
The EDC comprises some 55,000 m2 of space divided into four units. Delivered in 2008, the complex has a direct waterway connection to the rail terminal in the nearby city of Tilburg.
Syncreon, a supplier of integrated logistics solutions, took a long-term lease on the EDC in January this year to service two corporate clients.
