The new agreement involves 55,000 m2 of office space, spread over six buildings. At present, KPN rents the entire complex which comprises 77,000 m2 spread over 12 buildings.
Degi is part of Aberdeen Property Investors.
KPN has leased offices on Maanplein since completion in 1998. The handover of some 22,000 m2 space follows a restructuring of KPN's headquarters in The Hague and the stimulation of the 'virtual office' concept within the KPN organisation.
Degi was advised by Dutch adviser DTZ Zadelhoff. The property is managed on behalf of Degi by DTZ Zadelhoff Property Management.
