DeA Capital, Gruppo De Agostini's asset management arm, has appointed Rouzbeh Badi Arez as partner and managing director of its new platform in France.
Arez will support Emanuele Dubini, CEO of the company, on the origination, structuring and asset management activities to implement the company’s growth strategy across the French market.
The new platform will focus on a large and diverse range of investments including opportunistic, value-add, core plus and core strategies on behalf of the group as well as on behalf of the group's institutional clients.

Arez, who has nearly 15 years of experience in the French real estate market, was formerly head of the investment and asset management activities of Freo France.
Prior to that, he worked for the French listed French company Paref as a head of business development.
DeA Capital is currently the largest alternative asset management platform in Italy with about 500 local and international clients, and €11.9 bn of assets under management, according to the company. The firm has recently announced plans to focus on international expansion, launching its Iberian operations in Madrid after opening an office in France.
