The two partners will focus on last-mile logistics assets in major urban areas with the aim to create a grade-A, environmentally-sustainable logistics portfolio.

DeA Capital is a co-investor in the partnership while its Spanish arm will act as asset manager.

The group, with offices in Spain, Italy, France, Poland and Germany, has closed the first acquisition with the purchase of a development site to the south of Madrid, with plans to develop a 15,000 m2 last-mile logistics asset targeting BREEAM environmental rating.
