DeA Capital Real Estate, the property arm of the Italian alternatives investment manager with around €13 bn of RE AUM, has appointed Ashley Marks as head of capital advisory.
The capital markets professional, who used to work at placement agent, Capra Global Partners, and JLL, is tasked with helping source equity for JVs, club deals and investing across sectors and risk profiles.
The company has offices in Milan, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt and Warsaw and is in the midst of an expansion drive towards becoming a pan European player.
Marks most recently worked at Newbridge Capital Partners. Prior to that he was a consultant at Property Funds Research. He was director at Capra Global Partners, the capital raising business, from 2016 until 2021, and at JLL for nearly nine years from 2007 until 2016. JLL acquired Capra in 2021.
