Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing has appointed Olivier de Poulpiquet as its new European Head. The appointment is effective from 1 May. De Poulpiquet replaces Marco Polenta, who is leaving the company to pursue opportunities outside of Morgan Stanley.
Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing has appointed Olivier de Poulpiquet as its new European Head. The appointment is effective from 1 May. De Poulpiquet replaces Marco Polenta, who is leaving the company to pursue opportunities outside of Morgan Stanley.
De Poulpiquet started his career in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division in 1994 and moved to MSREI two years later. During his time at MSREI, he served as the Head of Acquisitions in Italy and later the Co-head of European real estate investing.
In 2003 he left the company to join Pirelli Real Estate where he was appointed Pirelli RE's Executive Board Member and Chief Investment Officer in June 2008. In this capacity he was responsible for all investment and fund-raising activities.
