The Lyte

The Lyte

The design for the building was provided by Franz-Josef Nahring and his team from KBNK Architects.

The Lyte will have 7,800 m2 of living space, offering 27 different apartment types for the 86 condominiums, ranging from 43 m2 to 395 m2 on 13 floors.

Two luxurious penthouses on the twelfth residential floor also have private roof terraces.

On the roof of the 60-meter-high building, a terrace will be created for residents' communal use, including an outdoor kitchen.

Residents will have at their disposal 96 underground parking spaces, 27 of which are equipped with electrical connections.

Completion is scheduled for Q2 2024 and the building will aim for BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification.

Lothar Schubert, managing partner of DC Developments, said: ‘We immediately felt that the design by the team around Franz-Josef Nadeling fits perfectly with our vision of creating a balancing and yet elegant place of retreat with the project. HafenCity is a place where life and metropolitan flair can be felt. As soon as you enter the building, there is calm and restrained luxury. Each apartment is like a jewelry box that contains stylish elements.’

The Lyte app will allow residents to control the indoor climate, the heating and the light in their apartment, receive information when the apartment door is opened and also connect them with other residents.

Future residents will have a wide range of shopping opportunities, including to Breuninger's department store, as well as leisure, cultural, culinary and entertainment options.
