Jeff Hines added: 'The office of the CEO was established in 2018 to ensure that the third generation of our family successfully carries the Hines baton well into the future and continues to champion our values, safeguard our culture and support our global workforce in pursuit of our vision.

'I look forward to working with my eldest daughter in continuing to drive the company to new heights in all of its disciplines.'

Hines-Pierce joined Hines in 2012 and was responsible for project management of developments and support of new business opportunities in the Midwest and Southeast regions in the US.

In 2017, she relocated to Houston to work in the office of the chief investment officer, and was named the firm’s transformation officer in 2018.

Prior to joining Hines, she worked for Sotheby’s in New York and interned at Eastdil Secured.
