A Danish syndicate has acquired two outlets of the Somerfield supermarket chain in the UK for £11.02 mln (EUR 16.2 mln) from property company British Land.
Property advisor King Sturge, which acted for the buyer, said the properties are in Bude, Cornwall and Connah's Quay in North Wales. The Bude store is 19,365 square feet and Connah's Quay is 28,143 square feet. Both properties are let to Somerfield on 35-year lease terms from April 1990.
King Sturge said the purchase price reflected a net initial yield of 5.18%. Wilkinson Williams acted for British Land.
