Chinese property developer Dalian Wanda is reportedly in talks to acquire a 75% stake in Spanish resort Marina d’Or in Oropesa del Mar north of Valencia.
According to Spanish press reports, the deal values the resort at €1.2 bn.
If the deal goes ahead, the transaction will be Dalian Wanda’s second real estate investment in Spain after the acquisition of Madrid’s iconic Edificio Espana building for €265 mln in June 2014.
The Chinese conglomerate did not comment on the rumours.
Located in the Province of Castellon, Marina d’Or houses an amusement park, a beachfront golf course and five hotels.
