Dades buys Coop portfolio in Aarhus

The portfolio includes a business campus, office and retail assets in Aarhus South, properties acquired and in some cases converted by Coop over a period since 1996.

Catella Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor to Coop, conducting a structured bidding process which attracted Danish and international investors, according to the advisor.

'The successful transformation of the area that Coop has patiently officiated has clearly been instrumental in bringing this solid investment case to life,' said Jesper Bo Hansen, head of corporate finance at Catella.

As the transaction is one of the largest ever carried out in Aarhus, final closing is dependent upon Danish competition and consumer authority approval.

Dades is owned by Novo Holdings, Tryghedsgruppen and Aase and Ejnar Danielsen’s fund.
