Jan-Willem Bastijn will succeed Baldwin Poolman on 1 January 2009 as Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield´s operations in the Netherlands, the Amsterdam-based company announced on Friday.
Jan-Willem Bastijn will succeed Baldwin Poolman on 1 January 2009 as Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield´s operations in the Netherlands, the Amsterdam-based company announced on Friday.
Poolman has been with C&W for 19 years during which time the company has evolved into one of the leading players in the Dutch market. Poolman now plans to pursue his career in the real estate sector as an independent adviser.
Bastijn has held various positions within Cushman & Wakefield over the past 12 years. In spring this year, he joined the EMEA Board and the European Capital Markets Board. Bastijn will be joined in his role as Managing Partner by Mathijs Flierman who is responsible for the Capital Markets division of Cushman & Wakefield in Holland.
