Central Europe specialist CTP has purchased two logistics and manufacturing facilities in Hungary with a combined floor space of 82,000 m2 from Industrial Securities. The transaction volume was not disclosed.
The deal includes a modern logistics hub at Biatorbagy, called Westlog DC, covering 63,000 m2 and counting DHL/Huawei, Tatár Pékség, Willi Betz and Bottari amongst its tenants.
The other property in the transaction is a 19,000 m2 manufacturing shed fully occupied by Delphi Hungary and located in Szombathely.
'Hungary is a key market for CTP which is also demonstrated by our recent acquisitions. Customers increasingly look for unique and personalised solutions, a field in which CTP has accumulated a broad experience,' said Flóra Badacsonyi, CTP Financial Manager.
CTP, which said it had completed several other major transactions in recent months, plans to expand its Hungarian portfolio to 500,000 m2 by the end of 2018. It now has assets covering 220,000 m2 in the country.
