Real estate investor and manager Cromwell Property Group (Cromwell) has appointed Jeroen de Zinger as head of Project Management, Benelux. He will be based in Cromwell’s Amsterdam office.
De Zinger will oversee the development and technical management of the properties Cromwell manages in the Netherlands, which comprise over 380,000 m2 of space across 32 properties. Most recently, Cromwell partnered with Goldman Sachs for a new 24,000 m2 building in Amsterdam, known as The Joan.
Prior to joining Cromwell, De Zinger was the technical portfolio manager at Albert Heijn Real Estate for nearly five years. With almost 20 years’ experience in the property industry, he has worked in roles including technical manager for CBRE, technical asset manager at Bouwfonds Investment Management and project manager at DHV Housing & Real Estate, all within the Netherlands.
Wouter Zwetsloot, head of the Benelux and Head of Real Estate, Europe at Cromwell Property Group, commented: ‘As Cromwell’s ‘Invest to Manage’ strategy rolls on, we are finding more and more opportunities to add value to existing buildings, as well as to new acquisitions. Project management of the refurbishment and upgrading process is an essential skill within the team and growing in importance as our tenant customers demand space that promotes wellbeing and sustainability.’
