Cromwell Property Group is to asset manage a planned office building in Amsterdam owned by Goldman Sachs.
Construction work on the property named The Joan is due to begin soon and finish in Q2 next year. When completed, the asset will comprise 24,078 m2 across eight floors, a restaurant, 246 dedicated parking places and charging points for electric cars and bicycles.
Goldman Sachs owns the property, which will be located in the Overamstel area in close vicinity to road and public transport networks, on behalf of its Jacana BV special purpose vehicle.
Wouter Zwetsloot, head of real estate in Europe at Cromwell Property Group, said: 'The Joan is a superb development that will add much-needed high quality and future-proofed sustainable office space to the Amsterdam office market.
'Investors are becoming much more discerning and sustainability and wellbeing factors are a critical consideration when it comes to asset selection. The Joan is being specifically designed to meet these requirements.
'We are excited to continue the long-standing partnership with Goldman Sachs and continue to create high quality and well managed space for our customers in the Dutch office market.'
