CR Investment Management (CR), a strategic investor and asset manager, has recruited Marlene Auerbacher to head its transaction management team.
Since February 2021, Auerbacher has been in charge of all acquisitions and dispositions that CR transacts on behalf of third-party clients or for its own portfolio. She reports directly to the managing directors, Claudius Meyer, Torsten Hollstein and Alexander Lackner.
Meyer commented: 'Marlene Auerbacher brings the know-how of many years in transaction management and an extensive network to the job.
'This makes her the perfect reinforcement of the team. In the area of real estate workouts, we will soon put a large portfolio on the market as a service provider, and Marlene Auerbacher will be in charge of its sale. We expect to handle more mandates of this kind in future.'
In her previous position with REWE Group, Auerbacher served four years as manager transactions real estate. Before that, she worked for KPMG Germany in Munich, primarily in the valuation unit.
Auerbacher graduated in real estate economics with a Masters of Science from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg.
