European real estate asset and investment management advisory firm CR has hired Stuart Hoare from Citi to lead its newly-established business activity covering debt and equity placement and related advisory services.

Hoare's long career in the real estate industry included 17 years as a director within Citi’s European Real Estate Finance team where he was involved in the financing of many of Europe’s largest investors and transactions.

Stuart’s role will facilitate sponsors in refinancing and recapitalising existing transactions as well as in sourcing debt and equity capital for new transactions. It will cover the entire spectrum of sponsors, from private investors to large institutions. In addition it will assist lenders in their syndication activities.

Transactions will start from €5 mln in size and will range from mortgage financing to multi-tranche offerings, and equity participation.
