Spanish property company Cosmani Inmobiliaria has acquired a plot of land with a build-on area of about 6,336 m[sup]2[/sup]. The asset, located in Villaverde, near Madrid, means an investment of EUR 28 mln, news agency Europa Press reported.

In a statement, the company said it intends to build 125 homes on the site, each with a garage, swimming-pool and large green area. In late November, Cosmani Inmobiliaria invested another EUR 85 mln in the acquisition of a plot of land in the Mendez Alvaro district of Madrid. The Spanish group had said it intended to develop offices and homes on the site, which has a build-on area of about 14,300 m2.
As of 2006, the company had total investments for EUR 300 mln, the majority of which were in Madrid and eastern Spain. The company entered the German market with the acquisition of an office building last September.
