The company paid €36 mln for the property. The vendor in the transaction was Nordic development giant, Skanska.

The Nowy Rynek complex comprises a total leasable area of 12,000 m2 and is fully leased to a leading Polish convenience retail business.

It is the first deal between the two firms in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

Welcoming the sale, Adrian Karczewicz, head of divestments at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE, said: ‘French investors haven’t been very active on the office market in Central and Eastern Europe thus far.

‘That’s why I’m very pleased that Corum decided to look for opportunities in the CEE region together with Skanska.

‘I’m also sure that this transaction will be beneficial for the investor, as the quality of the purchased asset is the best-in-class and the building is part of a large urban planning concept, located close to the city centre.’
